Seems odd that Verizon would be releasing the Storm as anything but Rev A since all their other Smartphones are now coming out as Rev A.

No, the 8330 is on Rev 0 not A.

Yeah current Smartphones are Rev 0 but the new releases from other manufacturers are all coming out as Rev A.

The only devices that we (vzw) have that are rev A are broadband cards and the dare. The chocolate 3 might be, but I'm not 100% sure on that. I skipped through the vzlearn as quick as could be. Dare is rev A for tethering, where the smartphones are only rev 0.

Rev A, GPS, and wifi on this thing will be the sickest device, IMO. So can't wait to check my email on the 15th!

The GSM version is the 9500 and yes it can be used on AT&T.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but the last time I checked it was CDMA phones, NOT GSM phones, that run on the EV-DO 3G standard.

I'm sure there will be a camera- i don't see anything that doesn't have a camera that's high end. I hope it has wi-fi as well. Well now we somewhat can say the thunder will be the GSM phone. Hopefully it's not stupid money when they finally hit. I could handle 400-500- that's all i will spend. I don't want to sign a contract so i will pay more if need be vs signing a contract and getting it cheap unless t mo came out pretty quick with a slamming deal which i doubt.

There are a couple of very reliable sources that confirms the presence of a camera.

Poke around the "Storm/Thunder" forums. You should find the answer to your question.
