Is there a difference between da OS for 9500 and 9530? I've noticed in some of da pix in kevin's OS update post the storm he uses 9500 or 9530
Are da OS built for a certain storm or can all updates be used for any storms?

    They are model specific.

Oo So it is true I can't upgrade a 9530 wit a 9500 OS update.. For an example da .99 is 9530 and .100 is 9500 only?

Correct. While there are probably some other minor differences, the big one is that the 9500 is GSM only while the 9530 is CDMA and GSM. So, even if that were the only difference, best case scenario of loading a 9500 OS onto a 9530 would be you lose the ability to use the CDMA antenna. Going the other way around, things might be worse since the devs probably didn't bother putting in any kind of failsafe code to check and make sure the CDMA hardware was actually there, and it could very easily prevent the OS from loading at all.

So best to just keep to the releases specific to your model.
