I got off of .75 b/c the batt life in .99 significantly improved. It's just zipper altogether. Upgrading the OS has definitely breathed new life into this hardware; it's like turning a ford taurus into an acura tl. Buggy and slow to Fast & Slick . You'd be surprised how much of a difference it makes...

I am still on 75 and generally happy. Would really like the full Qwerty keyboard in Portrait. Anybody know if that is possible without installing a leaked update ?

Still running .75 since I got the phone on 1/8/09.

It's a little slow ... but I can deal. I am waiting for the official release. Not messing around with leaks ... just in case. Lovin' my Storm!!!

I am on .75 and I have no real issuses. I CAN assign ringtones. It's just that every now and then, it will randomly plan the wrong one. That's it though. I am good with .75 until the official OS comes out!

I've been a Stormer for about 6 weeks and while the leaked upgrades look tempting, I'm hanging in with .75 until I really get to know and understand the whole BB/smartphone world (yeah, I know...it changes second by second). The lag in the accelerometer is driving my batty, and the camera is pretty useless for photographing my whirling dervish grandchildren, but I have a nice camera for that, although it would be nice if the camera in the phone would work better. So, I'll wait for the official upgrade. Until then, I'm pretty happy with my Storm.

I'm still on .75, and it is okay besides the almost daily reboots and video camera issues. I've really wanted to stick with official OSes, but as the reboots get worse I'm thinking an upgrade or at least a reinstall is necessary.

Last Thursday I compared my Storm to my boss's Storm. Both .75, but his was newer (I bought mine in Nov). It had such a great screen click compared to mine, yet mine switched orientations faster than his (with 5x the number of programs on mine, I might add). It is crazy how much variation there appears to be in the same OS installs.

Running .75 and having consistent problems with random reboots. Usually about 3-4 times a day I will reach for the phone and it will be rebooting. (ie white screen with clock icon) This occurs regardless of battery life state.

I have wanted to stick with official releases for the OS, but this rebooting problem is making me think twice about going for one of the leaked versions.

Called Verizon, and they just said to do a Master Reset.

.75 works great for me too. I've had it for about 2 weeks, and maybe 3 or 4 times got a the little black timer for about 2 minutes when trying to unlock, but other than that, no problems. Will definitely get the official update though, hopefully it'll have a full qwerty in portrait like the leaks

Add another user to the .75 club.

I've had my storm since 11/21 and have stuck with .75 all the way because of 2 reasons: 1) I'm a Mac user and 2) all the weird problems that people seem to have with leaded OS' freak me out!

I actually have a second laptop that is Windows based and I can use it to upgrade to leaked OS' but after reading about all the problems that can come with a leaked OS, I said "no thanks". I'll just wait for an official release like the rest of y'all.

PS. I've had no issue with my phone since day one. No random reboots with ability to assign ring tones to my contacts. Only complaint I have is the camera is super slow. I'm hoping the next official OS will fix that.

I was running with .75 for a long time until .99. I never did any of the previous OS leaks. With all the good things people had to say about .99, it finally convinced me to upgrade and I am glad I did. Much better performance in the camera, accelerometer, and over all responses.

Now I upgrade the evening of any new leaks. It's like an addiction now.

Still running the official .75 and she's running smoothly. I haven't had any major issues (at least that I've not brought on myself-such as deleting bbmaps and then wanting them back ).

    75 for me as well...

Every leak that comes out seems to fix one thing then something else is messed up. I guess that's the idea in Beta to get it right eventually.

Waiting for the official update I guess.

.75 for me to, I have never had a random reboot, unless it did while I was asleep. **** nothing bad at all. Themes run fine, battery life, I charge 1 time every 2 or 3 days, apps run smooth

I'm on .75 - I don't have the time nor do I want to take the risk installing leaks.

I have certain quirks with the phone - definate lags with the accelerometer, I would want to install a leak to make my Slingbox Mobile work, several battery pulls (actually Quick Pull so I don't have to take off the Innocae II), some random freezes.

Alll in all, I'm happy. I've never had a cell phone that hasn't had some sort of problem. The Storm to me isn't a cell phone - it's a mini computer (PDA+). It's fun to have, can do many things with it, etc. I will pateinetly wait for the next official firmware release.
