Hey guys... I just figured I would create this thread to see if anyone out there is running into the same situation im in. I have installed every firmware release including .113 last night. Then I decided you know what enough is enough, I am going back to .75. This morning I have gone back, and I am pleasently surprised with how well the transitions and the speed has been. I am convinced that either everyones phone has been reacting differently to these betas or that it is a true placebo effect for everyone. When youre used to these crappy beta's a slight increase in speed and everyone rants and raves WOW OM<GGD!?!?! then a few days later the curses come. I had it yesterday when I was trying to go onto crackberry during night class after work with my phone on .113 and all I got was that darn hourglass for 2 minutes straight. Back to .75 and I am happy....anyone else?

    Rant done.

    ...Nope

Every stable beta has been better than .75...way too slow.

No, but I have used .75 on another friends Storm recently. After they played with my Storm for 5 minutes they begged me to install .114 Hybrid for them

i have seen 75 on a friends phone do things that have never been done on mine..... such as snow screen etc. Unless you try on the same exact phone you will not see the true difference. I really suggest one day when you are bored give it a shot and let me know.

I had .75 for quite some time. Installed a few leaks, but didn't find an overall solid increase until .109 (so I stayed on 75 until then). A good friend of mine still has .75, and I've used it since my .109 upgrade .... my vote is .109 > .75

I've been running .75 since I got my storm back on Feb 4th. Only real complaint is the camera. I admit its not as snappy as the iToy, but my storm has been rock solid. I've only had about 2 random reboots in about 7 weeks, and I've only pulled my bat about 3 or 4 times.

I think that anything .99 and higher is way better than .75..especially with the typing and browser lag...not to mention how slow the system is at processing applications

yeah, so is .109, and .113. .75 brings back more random reboots, freezing, and much more lag just to name a few.

after extended use... all of these hybrids and betas you guys are mentioning significantly hog memory on my storm... the mb free had dropped into the teens, 109 included and I would see the hourglass more and more as I had the os's installed. As far as stability goes, rim is getting there because I had to do zero batt pulls since 109. But speed is what was killing me.

.113 is without a doubt the best imo. I'm STILL running with 48.1 MB of free mem after 15 hours lol speed hands down blows .75 away

I'm not having that much luck...My memory dropped into the 20's but it is still very fast and stable.
