DM Available here on the Left Coast. Installation went fine except:
Meterberry did not re-install properly, had to remove and then resend from App Store.
I use AppleBerry as my theme. Before, when I touched (not click) the Calendar icon, my upcoming appointments would show up sharp and clear. Now, they're much larger fonts and a bit fuzzy. Hmmmm?
It appears to have picked up about 8MB of memory on bootup. I was consistantly at 107MB and I am now at 115MB
Everything else appears to be about the same. I already had one of the replacement units so clicking was already slick and smooth and has remained so with the update.
Have done the OTA upgrade. I have gone from approx 116 and to about 90. Where is the download stored from the OTA upgrade and how do I delete it.
Still running the leaked version of 607 and I used BBM Groups and haven't had a problem. Not seeing the disappearing keyboard here.
other good thing is that the phantom bbm icon saying i have a new chat is finally gone.
the Icons on Main screen updates finally! ie(MeterBerry-WeatherBug)
Started with 94MB Free, loaded .607 now have 104MB...
My Screen is soft and all the bottom 4 buttons feel super nice. Original Nov Release Storm2-
does edocrab work for you at all?
added to your post in BOLD
oops... need to take that off my list- it made my phone crash and had to battery pull-
downgrading now. may go hybrid tonight...
or try re-upgrading since im working til 9 anyway.
how do you go back to official .320 if we dont like .607???
go back to wireless update and check for upgrades. it should give you the option.
I got it at 5:45 tonight OTA but did not have enough battery so it set up to do it automaticly at 2AM. I changed that to 8PM and then when I got home moved up the time to now.
I am still in the process.
For some reason, when I attempt to run the wireless update, I get the following message: Requesting new updates has been disabled by your administrator. I got this off of eBay and don't think this was BES connected. Is there a way to re-enable the wireless update?
how do i chnage the spell check to not give me the little menu suggesting full words from what i type?
sorry not feeeling well and can't think straight
Well .607 is the official O/S now
revjar, pm me, bb admin may work.
Just got done with the update trough DM, and now i cant get the keyboard to come up on group chat bbm
After installing .607, BerryWeather (which I already purchased) is asking me for my activation code.
I can't find this code and I don't want to have to pay for it again. Is this how it works with apps when you upgrade the OS??
Did the ota up date took like 20min but I don't see a difference except the stand by works quick not much of an update ie you ask me

never mind finally got it
yes but you can still go backwards if you choose. The option should be there if you use DM to update your os.
what is the difference. So far so good. Easy d/l'd. Only issue was that I need more battery so it stopped itself until I got home and plugged it in. Then it just did its think in about 30 minutes.:D
Yes, apps that require an activation code will ask for it again. If you purchased it through mobihand you can find it there. If not you can get it from bellshare.
So after installing and playing around for a bit I haven't noticed any issues yet. Not even this "BBM Groups Keyboard Issue" that everyone is talking about..
EDIT: Nevermind, just tried again and the keyboard is no longer working in BBM Groups... oh well.. never really use that anyway
"Wait a week and see what people say?" What they say is all over this forum...see what the hundred or so people experienced to help you make your decision...:)
