Do I have to have my BES admin reactivate my phone if I upgrade to get my BES email?
After it did the restore it automatically reactivated.
I've got a questions regarding the Core Update 4.7.
What was actually installed with this core update?
The new update, updates the os and the platform some fixes are the lag that some people have experienced and some other ones.....
I know about the new update but there is another Core Update that people of been prompted for that is not the OS Update. It appears to be updating Wallpapers etc... from the looks of the files.
I was just curious if people knew exactly what was updated.
When you actualy do it and before your about to do it on the desktop manger it gives a list of whats going to be upgraded. When i updated mine to .75 i didnt take the time to look at all of it I just wanted my phone to be a little better and it is :)
The Enterprise Activation automatically started after I did the upgrade. No need to deactivate beforehand.
There was no list and I'm not talking about the .75 upgrade. All it said was 4.7 Core Update and it took less than 5 minutes for some wallpapers and other items to be "updated".
Oh well...
Well do the .75 upgrade then you will see a difference. The core one it showed on the Desktop Manger i Belive it was vcast because when i did it. It took about 5 mins and it didnt do nothing but add a vcast icon.
Ok.
I'd prefer to wait for Verizon/RIM to push the .75 upgrade to me. I don't want the hassle of dealing with a brick or any other issues that may occur when doing the upgrade outside the standard process.
Now I dont have BES email or gmail. When I send mail it does go out as gmail, but I not receiving BES or gmail. Any ideas?
