I've been pretty happy with .99 & my appleberry theme. The lock lag is still annoying - but everything else is pretty good. I do miss the speed of .90 - but the stability of .99 is nice. I heard accelerometer response has been improved - but that's it.
With these new OS's leaking out - would you say it's worth upgrading? I haven't really read anyone raving about the new leaked OS's past .99
I had .99 and found it to be a little more stable. I now have .103 and it seems a little faster, but I am contemplating moving back down to .99. I feel we are in the same boat though: moving from .99 to .103 does not seem to be worth it, and downgrading from .103 to .99 does not seem to be worth it either.
I'm using .99 for the similar reasons you stated. I always try any new os because it might be better. If your comfortable with uploading and downgrading and all that type of stuff then you should definitely yet every pa there is. But if you're happy with .99 and don't like through all that stuff then don't.

I'm running .99 and it is very stable for me. If I didn't think an upgrade was coming soon I'd probably switch to .103 It's watch and wait at this point.
I have heard that RIM will release a huge update near the end of March, which coincides with the expiration of the BOGO deal that VZW has going right now. The BOGO deal ends March 31st.
I tried .103 but had some serious battery drain issues. I went back to .99 and removed e-mobile today Professional. Now I have excellent battery life even with GPS on all the time. No reboots. some screen lag when moving from portrait to landscape after sleep mode in holster.

Three things:
1) I have had one unexpected reboot.
2) Word Mole runs a little slow--the vegetable speed round is laggy.
3) The web browsing is soooo much faster than it was with 0.99 for me.
Yeah - I can't say I can complain about the batt life on .99 - it's been superb - two days, I leave gps on but turn off bluetooth once I arrive at the office.
Have tried .75, .99, .103, and last night upgraded to .109. Thus far my phone is running smoother and is not hour glassing every few minutes. The accelorometer or whatever has been better since .75 and to me it doesnt matter how fast that goes as long as the phone is stable. Typeing doesnt seem to lagg as much anymore and hopefully after a full days use with messaging people while running slacker my phone wont freeze up like it would with .99. I dont use the blackberry messenger so I wouldnt be able to comment on whether or not it locks the phone up which I know people will be asking eventually. One thing I did notice after I upgraded and did a battery pull was that flipping through songs\ringtones was almost instant. There was absolutely no lagg when hitting next. So in closing .109 seems worth the upgrade.
Yeah - I've got .109 sitting on my home laptop - contemplating putting it on when i get back tonight. I may just do it if it's that much better - but man I hate putting in all my passwords and rearranging all my icon everytime
