From what I've read in the 9530 thread OS .99 "aint all that".

One of the biggest gripes is the colour resolution appears to have been reduced which has resulted in a rougher looking GUI and poorer image quality.

Even if it leaks for the 9500 I think I'll be giving it a miss.

Surely it cant be any worse than .90, I mean come on .90 is dire - as I've previously posted I'm on the verge of putting my Storm away and going back to using my Bold.

I prefer wait for the official OS rather than the Leak one. OS 0.99 could not be loaded on the 9500 cuz the 523 app error will appear. Untill now, the 0.87 is one of the stable OS for 9500, although that is not the official (I believe is close to).

That may or may not be true but speaking from my personal experience with .90 I'm not having such a bad time with it that would make me upgrade to an OS with reduced colour resolution.

Having said that I know people are having different issues with the OS, some worse than others.

It won't load because it's not developed for the 9500, till now only for 9530 devices.... we (the 9500 crowd) will have to wait for the .99 release if there will be one...

It's good to hear someone is getting on fine with .90, I have to say mine wasn't too bad until .90

It's a bit bizzare that everyone seems to be getting different results considering we are all using the same bit of kit, it's not like a PC where they are all built out of different components from different manufactures if that was the case it would make sense

I could tell you that I could load other 9530 Leak OS on 9500. Do you believe?

I think the .90 is the best OS yet, and untill now, they've only kept upgrading the OS, therefore, the .99 should be better/best yet.
Looking forward to meet it, but until that I must un-brick my storm, as it says "unable to creat..." out of sudden.I am working on the problem, any help welcomed.

I have the 90 since the day it leaked and I'm very happy with it. I found out that instango was the app behind the random reboots, at least here
So I am not running it any longer and then no more reboots. Even my battery is much better. I'm a happy man now.

It means, people stop begging like ***** to these people to release a OS that they could already have released to make a damn stupid phone more stable, in fact as stable as it should have been when it was first released. Palm PRE looks like it can really kick arse and maybe that should be the one for us to get when it gets released (early days yet).

I've had a long day so I thought I would abbreviate it.
