Ok. I am admittedly a complete newb but I am finding it difficult to understand all the variance in people's reactions to installing this (and others) version. I had my curve for a very brief time, never had a blackberry previously, before upgrading to a newer OS simply by following the instructions given by you very helpful and knowledgeable people. Worked the first time no problems. Is it possible that there is just a lot of user error (i.e., not doing it right) explaining the "works great no problems!" response to the "I'm getting all these errors, wont work for me" response? Understand, no disrespect to anyone! Just wondering if I may face a similar response the next time I try to upgrade mine.

    I think its buggier than .83 .
I do not seem to have as much control with keyboard, web pages, etc

    Seems faster though!!
wow...seems a lot more stable than 83 to me and several others

I get this every time I update software. I just click yes and it don't come back?
Mine always says that when I reboot the phone with either a battery pull or SoftReset.

Go to manage connections and make sure mobile network is on.
Go to the vzw bis site and resend your service books, if you did a J_LCommander wipe, before the install, you'll need to do a restore to get all your contacts/preferences back.

ok..whats the difference......the original rapidshare file has PBr4.7.0_rel120
    and yours has

PBr4.7.0_rel15 in the file name. Are these really the same?

You know, I really dont know, I thought i uploaded the wrong file at first, but I think filefront just kinda shortened the name down. I think it stopped at the "1" in "120" and then through the "5", the last character before the exe.

    Folks,

Any news on the 9500 version?

I know this has been asked before, i notice their was a post about 4hours ago saying that somebody was trying to host but not heard anything since.

I also know that the version that is currently leaked will not work on the 9500.

    Cheers

I didn't wipe with this one, did a full wipe with all of the others,
    No problems.
My first load of .76 I did with no wipe, it was really buggy, did a wipe/reload, it was my favorite build afterwards.
Looks like .85 will be stepping in as my new favorite, all my bugs from .83 are gone (for now),
including the famous even though suretype is the default keyboard in portrait, T9 is what you get.
