I doubted whether or not .76 would be faster but i installed it anyway (after a good wipe of course) and im really disappointed. I think .75 was faster for mine.

after originally installing .76 over .75, i can say that now, after i instead opted to wipe clean and do a fresh .76 install, i notice a significant difference. i would say it is well worth the 30 minutes it takes to make it happen.

Remember to turn OFF all your wireless connections before trying to install ,76 on your Storm or it won't get recognized as the newest software. It will see the .65 or .75 instead since these are VZW versions.

you could also do what i did and use a different computer

I also think the .76 was laggy. I had the leaked .75 and liked that alot. .76 just didnt work out for me, so I wiped my storm and loaded the .75 from VZW and my storm is performing much better. From now on, im going to stick with OS updates from Verizon.

there's the wiping where you go to options - security options - general settings - then press menu - Wipe Handheld.

So I am officially fed up. .76 has been absolutely terrible on my Storm. The lag is amazingly bad. It resets now at random times, screens fade up only half way, stop, then come up 2 seconds later, etc. I am gonna try doing a backup, full wipe, then a re-load of .76 to see if its any better after that. Now, I just have to find a PC to borrow

.76 has been great to me. Haven't really found any problems. I didn't do a full wipe if that matters.
Other than the random claims that it is slow. Has anyone else found any issues?
