A really good OS release will be reported as a major upgrade for the Storm and will probably help RIM's stock...Something much needed right now.

.109 was brought up nearly 3 weeks ago now and it still hasn't gotten that far on the leaks....

.118 that would be nice. If CX is tootin its horn it must be good, he's a very level headed logical person it seems. He has been very storm neutral for the most part so if he's saying its everything we thought it should be I'm stoked.

Its exciting to think what might be in store with this build. Thats a pretty big jump, and since .99 speeds have been good. So who really knows what they've improved on. Exciting stuff!

Lol. The Storm with Wifi is completely and totally awesome!! I mean, even with a little slower processor than the Bold, it's crazy fast. Wifi isn't a deal breaker but very nice to have. Anyways, if you're happy with .103, you're not going to want another build after the last couple of the latest ones.

Im still running .75 and dont have hardly any problems. Im holding off untill the next official release so I can be really blown away. You shouldve done that and just waited. Its not like the phone doesnt do what it was advertised to do. And if so, I havent experienced that. Get a Curve if your not happy. And remember....

Was a slightly confusing statement. I think he meant that the latest builds, builds that we have not seen yet will be better still and that we won't want anything after those come out. (silly CX, doesn't he realize that we will always want to try out new versions of the OS )

Million dollar question is when will they come out. .103's changes compared to .99 were minimal, and I kinda feel like we got stiffed . I think the next leak should at least be .111.

You don't have to do it. The purpose of crackmem is to delete preinstalled (sample stuff, and stuff you don't use). I never did, and my storm works great. If you do want to do it, here is the guide:

I had both .103 and .106. They are similar, may be less lag when typing....If .103 is running good for you, you may want to wait for either the next leak or official. I love playing around with OSs, so I went ahead and tried it. I think there is a thread on findings......let me see if I can find it for you:

It seems like we are going to skip the .106 leak altogether for the the 9530 and go right to .109
