Bump... anybody use these programs or could suggest something else for keeping track of finances and stock portfolios?
Never used(don't have a smartphone) it but here is a site I saw yesterday.
Thank you for your reply. Everything I could find on here was the viigo, but you can't setup your own information apparently.
I will download this and give it a shot!
Great App. Thanks!! I wish they make an app that contains ONLY stock symbols (similar to iphone)
I use stock Viewer and like it, especially when its all green :) It works for looking to see whats going on with the market and your stocks, but that is about it, I tried Viigo, but as others have said you cant add your own info...as far as money management goes, I have not used anything but would love to see if somehting could keep me up to date like quicken does at the house, I have chase.
edit: I only have two stocks I keep in the stock viewer and I dont know how to keep the keyboard closed (it will block the stocks if there are more then two, I am going to have to see if they have a updated one for the storm.)
Ok I have gone to m.street.com and polarmobile.com on my Storm Browser. Neither shows a download now. I tried the email me the link which just sends me m.street.com.
Any suggestions?
Kind of on the same topic, anyone use Bank of America on their phone?
I have a personal bank account with them and an investment account and I would like to be able to see both. Is that possible?
Can't post links yet.

Just tried theStreet mobile, can't seem to get any TSX quotes.
i'm using marketfilters.com

you may have to add you carrier's APN if it doesn't connect (instructions can be found on the site)
uses yahoo finance as its source (and format), so pretty extensive for those of us who keep an eye on non-US markets.
question for you: i'm trying to go one level higher and want to find an application that will update a market index on my home screen (similar to the weather app, but a stock market app in its place). do you know of anything?
This was a post that helped me with this same problem

If you install some apps that were not designed for the storm they usually launch but with the keyboard in constant view and the touchscreen then acts as a trackball instead of a touchscreen. To fix this go to Options> advanced options> applications Highlight the app and press the menu key. Select Disable Compatibility Mode. Now the app will fill the screen and the touch screen will work like it should.
Make sure you are using your Blackberry browser (not Internet Explorer).
I went through mobile.blackberry.com and that worked great. I love the STREETS.
You may also want to try iStockManager.
The BlackBerry version of iStockManager brings you the most robust trading application with the same great features as the original iStockManager for iPhone version. Giving you secure, quick and simple access to your TD AMERITRADE account, you can place trades and check the market while on the go. Equity and option trading, streaming data, real-time balances and positions, option chains, news and more, right at your fingertips.
Visit iStockManager's web site to get more info about the app.
The app can be downloaded from iStockManager - Brokerage Services by TD AMERITRADE or from the CrackBerry app store
If your just looking for a simple easy stock market viewer that you can set your own tickers to and come with DOW, Nasdaq, S&P500, and TSE, (Market filters) is a good download.
Hey guys,
I'm just kind of bouncing this idea around and wanted to see what people thought.
I trade stocks using swing trading (channeling). I've been doing it for awhile. I find most of my time is spent researching stocks that would be good picks. I haven't found a good community for people to bounce stocks around.
Does anyone else swing trade? Would you guys find this useful? I'm looking for a few core members to help me build this up. I would be responsible for all costs, but would love members to contribute and help me build it up. respond or PM me your thoughts.
THANKS GUYS!
-Mike
