they have sold millions of storm1's. The BOGO is a promotion by verizon. They could care less at how much they make on the device sale itself. All they are concerned about is getting people locked into a contract. They make the money back from any BOGO deal pretty quickly. Oh and .287 was never in VZW testing. And no, the storm2 os will not work on the storm1. Different radio and some other different hardware.
