I'm just wondering when exactly to do these pulls. After the OS is up and running or durring boot up at 60 sec intervals.

The "3 battery pulls at 60 second intervals" suggestion (which I don't adhere to, in any event) means you remove the battery for 60 seconds, put it in, let the OS boot up, and then repeat two more times.

Ok just wondering. I'm still gonna give it a try. Loading up v7 right now. Well shall see.

Doing 1 battery pull definitely helps me, so I'd definitely recommend you do it at least once. Personally I just find 3 to be a bit excessive.

It has been posted that after the initial boot cycle, you may send service books, host routing table and reintroduce all passwords to 3rd party apps (if need be) before the 3 battery pulls..... FYI

personally, i pull once os is installed....then re-verify my 3rd party apps, then pull, and then quickpull once....thats just me...it seems to help the OS settle in better

I found 3 pulls isn't required. I did a clean install of .148 last night and right after installation I was at 46 or 48mb i can't remember exactly... one battery pull put me at 52.0mb exactly. The second and third pull... still 52.0mb. One pull is all thats needed.

I think most here are talking about 3 pulls after installing the hybrid OS.....Not a straight OS........

Yeah I was talking about a hybrid. I just settled with 2 and a quickpull. v7 seems to be running solid.

Yeah when I tested this it was when I was re-installing Lyricidal's .148 hybrid over the leaked .148 as a base. Forgot to mention that my bad. Still only 1 was needed.

After installing any O.S, i only do one, physical battery pull. It always seems to do the trick for me.
