I wanted to test something, i pulled my battery 6 times and my battery was down 15%. is this normal? I'm wondering if the people who report bad battery life are the people who pull their battery several times a day.

What is everyone Else's thought on this.

I can't verify 100% for sure, but I do believe it's normal due to the fact it takes a few minutes for the Storm to load up its software. I would assume it effectively is using 100% of its processor power during this time, which would drain the battery quicker than normal.

I have also noted the battery drop when doing pulls, although I only do them when necessary so I can't vouch for the 15% at 6 pulls. Wouldn't seem extreme to me though.

Yes, booting the Storm is battery intensive.

Repeated power off/power on cycles for just about any battery-powered device will put a drain on the battery; more so if each power up cycle is requiring lots of power to load up programs and the like. Even with less full-featured dumb phones, there is often noticeable battery depletion when powering down and then up again.

I think six battery pulls would toast my Storms battery.
