Talked with the good people at SanDisk today at CES. They had a Storm with a 16GB card. Now, the downside.... I completely forgot to look and see what OS that Storm was running. Maybe I can get my hands on it again tomorrow.
I know the OS doesn't matter, but I was going to check for all of you that want to know what the greatest and latest OS is. Just maybe they have some new version on there that hasn't leaked yet.
Uhhh, people have been putting 16 GB cards in the Storm's for over a month and it has already been established that the Storm can take 32 when it's available. Give me news...I want to know when the 32 is going to be available!
kasperapd, thanks for posting the info...I know if I were hanging at CES the last thing I'd want to be doing would be to post in forums about it until it was all done, none the less getting replies back saying "tell us something we haven't heard". Appreciate the update.

when was this established (recognition of 32gigs)? never herd that the storm could possible recognize more then 16gigs?
Believe the OS supports up the 32GB microSD cards, now just have to wait until March/April timeframe for when they supposedly are going to be released.

Yes the storm can handle 16gb cards but that does not mean that it can handle all brands. There are still variations among brands and revisions. The storm does not seem to work with Delkin brand cards. While most my other devices work fine with this brand except for a Samsung alias that I still have sitting on my desk.
Its good to have a list of known good cards / brands. That way there is no question.
