OK, so I've had the Storm since May 1st and have had the stock firmware (.75) on it since then. So yesterday I upgraded to .148 OTA. Everything went fine until I started using the phone after it was done. I had only seen the hour glass(?) once or twice when using .75 and now with .148, I've seen it so many times I can't count them all. Also, I used to be able to touch the screen while it was locked and it would light up and show me my homescreen. It would say it was locked, but I could still see everything. Now when I touch the screen, nothing happens. Even the buttons on the sides of the phone don't do anything. I can touch any of the buttons at the bottom and they will light the screen up. And forget about switching screen orientation. That takes minutes where as it used to take seconds. What gives? I think I want to go back to .75 unless someone can tell me what the heck happened here. I'm so turned off by this phone now, and before the upgrade, I loved my Storm. Someone please help me. Thanks!

try a battery pull if you haven't done so

the lock feature is suppose to happen so when in your pocket the screen doesn't click light up and waste battery(my assumption)

I also will go back to .75 unless something gives....now, one day after update, my Storm has "frozen" four times. Prior to .148 it did not freeze once-I bought it about a month ago.

    Try doing a battery pull.

As for your screen not lighting up when you lock it, hate to say it, but this feature was implemented several months ago via past leaked OS's. It is done on purpose to conserve battery life. I know back when I had .75, my battery life was severely effected because something would touch the screen while it was locked, causing it to light up.

Go figure, I downloaded PatternLock and now I'm stuck with having my screen light up again whenever I touch it. Oh well.
