I may have misunderstood how it works, but only those on .75 would be able to OTA. You can only upgrade from official releases. .141 was never made official.
I thought it said only people on .75 would get the poke, nothing about being able to download OTA.
I was running .141 and I got an e-mail from blackberry that an update is available. Installing now OTA. (I guess what I am saying is that the OTA poke is not limited to those running .75)
I live in Cleveland, OH, and have .132 on both my Storm & my daughters, phone numbers ending in 6 & 7. No update available yet for either of out Storms.
yes it is... go to options, advance options, wireless upgrade...last option on the screen

DM automatically updated without much of a problem. Other than a few apps and browser bookmarks that were missing that I restored from backup, it went smoothly. Don't see much of a difference from .75, even after several battery pulls. Of course .75 has worked flawlessly for me, so I think .148 is more hype than substance.
It's 4:30 PDT and my OTA upgrade is shown (I went through the options menu and there that little thing of beauty was), but the first few times it said "failed" or something to that effect, and to try later. I kept trying and finally got to a screen that says: Download remaining: 17MB, Progress is creeping along (2 min. and 3%). It's very slow, but that's okay...I'm so excited! Of course, now I'm getting a flashing red light and a SMS notification. Oh well...they'll wait.
You'll see from my sig that I hung with .75, so even if the accelerometer works a little faster, I can actually take a still picture of something that isn't inanimate (my video camera, however, has been flawless), and I don't get the pretty colored snow when I take it off the charger, I'll be a happy camper.

i think its only available for people who are still on .075 only, atleast for right now, if you can get the ota, let us know what os are you running?
I was on 75....I did not get poked for the upgrade. Checked options>advanced>upgrade........Wouldn't ya know...there it was. I did have to delete some apps for the application upgrade to start the dl.
