The blackberry core application update I got was to my phone. Said connecting to device, did the update and rebooted my phone.

There is no device update in Dm yet. Not until June 3rd. You can get it from the blackberry website on the 31st after 10 PM

Is this under the presumption that they have put more work into perfecting the OTA upgrade process vs the DM installer? I also wondered about the reliability after trying twice to get the .148 leak on my phone to work 100%, there would always be a little glitch like the camera not focusing or the call log popping up at weird times. Is it not enough to just wipe the thing using JL_cmder and start over?

Since I am at .148 now should I downgrade to .75 since the platform or whatever seems to be .203 instead of .181? or should I just keep my leaked os. Also how do I get back down to .75

I downloaded the .148 this morning and its awesome compared to the .75. A huge difference in the preformance right off the bat. Now I dont have to wait until Sunday!

Im glad that they are getting a release out but, .148 is not that much better than the many versions that supposedly failed testing.

Like someone seaid earlier, my unlock in and out of holster is still a crap shoot whether it will unlock or not.

I really hope they get a 5.0 OS out soon. And i hope verizon doesnt think that this comes anywhere close to fixing the phone.

I have no issues with .148. And the 100 items fixed on the change log certainly seem like they have fixed many of the issues with the storm.
