Lame. Personally .148 has been the worst OS I've tried since .75
.148 has been good to me! Not one problem out of it.

Ok no one really answered this clearly: If I downgrade to .75 on Sunday, do I have to wait to get a poke to be able to OTA upgrade, or can I just click on the option in the advanced menus at, say, 10pm?

My nos end in 8 and 9 so I understand that I will not get a "poke" until June 8 or 9 +/-. Do I correctly assume that the Poke is completely passive and that I don't have to do anything to to get it? If I want the update sooner is there a simple way to get it OTA or is downloading thru DM the only option? Sorry to be dense about this but I am both a BB newbie and a technologically addled old fart, so please explain at approx the 3d grade reading level. Thanks

Once it is available you can get it. But if you didn't upgrade and your number is line you will get a poke. a poke is going to those that have 75 and have yet to upgrade to 148 starting with the number ending in 0 and going up over 11 days

If I'm running the leaked version of .148, is it recommended to downgrade to .75 and then go back up to .148 using the official.. or does it really not matter??

I did the same thing and it worked just fine for me too. I suggest connecting to your DM and see what you get. Hopefully you get lucky too and get the update today.

Happy Friday. Make the best of it.

I just plugged my storm in and the DM said there was update. So I did, and guess what, it was .148. I thought this was getting pushed out on Sunday, not today. Guess I got a present early.

Nope, they are the same thing. I, on the other hand, AM going to downgrade to .75 then OTA to .148 because something is wrong with the lock on my .148. Must have been a botched install.

Hm sweet I guess.. Already on a hybrid with .148 I guess its good news for those who won't use leaks. So could this potentially push a 5.0 release farther away?

To those who are seeing updates: are you sure you're not seeing DM updates? That is, updates to the DM software, not the phone software.
