    What is the next logical OS build to be sent to vzw for testing?

    Well we know that .114 was garbage.

    I have heard some of the .12X builds were terrible. So where does that leave us?

    .13x, .14x, .15x, .16x, .17x, and .18x... Possibly even .19x by now.

    Why are you all so caught up on OS numbers? Does it really make a difference as long as it works well?

    Whats wrong with .113?

    I havent rebooted my phone since .113 was posted here on the forums, and my memory is still at 25MB, and I havent had an issue yet.

    I saw that article also. I can't believe with all the remaining flaws in .113 (the color degradation for example) that they're willing to release it. Hopefully it's an interim release to be followed shortly by one of the .17X or .18X builds CX and others have been talking about.

    I think .113 is good, but I didn't think it was quite next official OS good.

    .113 already officially failed. Its Definitely not gonna be .113. And it doesn't matter what number it is, as long as it works. You're right. BUT if know what build it is we might know how many fixes are implemented and maybe the possibility of existing bugs, etc. I run .75 but I'd like for my phone to pwn apple products a little more efficiently. Guess I'll just wait to see what vzw gets next.

    I haven't rebooted my phone since last evenings install of .113. Here is where my memory is at now;

    The strange thing is, that it still works better than .75, go figure.

    That's not really something VZW is going to care much about.

    Yeah why did RIM give them the OS with this issue in the first place? I'm beginning to think this is intentional. On RIMs and VZW part.

    Or maybe Verizon, being a CDMA carrier, really just doesn't care that much about GSM. Vodafone might have a different opinion, and other carriers may as well... But Verizon isn't going to be losing any sleep over it.

    The Storm is a 'world phone' and has GSM support in the specs. I know VZW doesn't have to care about other Storm on networks other than their own. However RIM is giving them builds with awful GSM support. Doesn't make much sense seeing the Storm is supposed work on those bands.

    Depends. Has anyone experiencing GSM issues reported those issues on European GSM bands?

    I can easily see VZ not giving much a damn if NA GSM band support is sketchy or even non-existent. Seeing as how such support would essentially mean the person was using the phone on one of their competitor's networks

    US, UK doesn't matter it doesn't work. I'm not in the US and it's doesn't work. As i said before if VZW were making the builds i would understand but RIM is and they are not holding true to the Storm GSM support specs.

    Good call.. That's a distinct possibility since the rep admitted he wasn't on .75. Maybe that was his interpretation of it. 140 the platform for .113?
