always had good signal at home and suddenly after 109 install have weak signal...fades in and out and drops up and down...anyone else have this?

When I installed it it automatically changed the setting from 1XEV to Global and I had to go change it back.

Options > Advance Options > Host Routing table, then hit BB button then "register now". Always good thing to do a battery pull too.

If those things don't work, it might be worthwhile wiping your phone's OS and then reinstall .109.

I experienced the exact same thing. Before 109 I was running 106 hybrid. My phone signal was great, as it was with every other OS. After 109 it was terrible. I have done everything recommended by many on this site, including multiple clean wipes with JL Cmder and reinstalls. I have registered as recommended by the poster above. I downgraded to 103 and still have a very weak phone signal. It was never like this before 109. Many on this board say it is not 109 related, but my experience says otherwise. I welcome any ideas on a fix. Many thanks.

I am having the same issue my signal has been crap since upgrading to .109. I have tried everything I have wipe the phone 3 times and reinstalled. My wife has a pearl and has better service everywhere then me.

yep....tried reinstaling, wiping, etc. Can barely get data signal in house whereas had about 80 % signal strength before. Very dissapointing. Glad to see its not just me.

I had that but then I disabled the wireless radio and then re enabled it and viola 1XEV power. And yes I tried batt pull before hand and no go.
