And while I'm at it, typing this on my 8330, there's light leaking all around the trackball housing and surrounding buttons, and I never thought to complain about it! --bg

Agreed... I have an 8830 and there are HUGE gaps on it and no one complains... I mean way way bigger than on the Storm. People just aren't used to having a gap right at the screen edge that's all...

Oh and put your finger on your 8830 keyboard and wiggle it from side to side once... it moves around quite a bit... but no one complains about that do they?

The Storm will be fine. People need to realize it might not be perfect on the initial release! A month down the road after some software updates I bet it will be in a league of it's own... it already is really.

Wasn't there a bunch of problems that the iPhone had coming out too?
One of the biggest things the iPhone has going for it is the number of apps that are out there. Everyone seems to be writing them for the iPhone and leaving RIM on the back burner with apps.
