    But it let me sync music? I cropped my ringtones using Audacity and then dragged them to the ringtones file in blackberry2. Nothing.
    I tried to put a picture on it also, and it erased all my pictures except for the preloaded ones.
    Any advice?

    Any advice?
    Unplug the phone from the usb and plug it back in again. That could fix your problem. We'll try the easy route first.

    does audacity create protected files?

    if its protected its not going to work..

    Options > Memory > Mass Storage Mode Support: On

    Then plug your phone into your computer.

    in explorer, right-click>format

    And you do know you cannot "see" them on the phone while it is plugged into your computer, right?

    options>>>>memory>>>> highlight "total space" under media card then hit your blackberry button click format.
