    I do not plan on going overseas for a while ... dont got money for a vacation... Anyway if i turn off global and just put it on 1XEV will it do anything for my phone? and what do you use?

    Pull your Sim Card also. Haven't heard if it makes it run faster but it does prevent possible signal issues.

    I just keep mine on 1XEV and turn off the Global. Im not sure if it actually does anything or not but I just feel like it should be that way until I feel the need to make it global. You really dont have to pull the Sim Card though.

    You don't have to but what the point of having it in there if you don't use it? It defaults to 1XEV with out it.
