I'm now positive that I am getting the Storm and I want to know if I go on the vzw site next friday 11/21, do you think that I will most likely be able to just order it off the site and recieve it in the mail soon? Or do you think it could possibly be sold out even online and I would have to wait even longer than I already have. How could they even run out online.
I'm wondering the same thing myself, I'm not going to be able to take off from work and I don;t want to have to wait any longer!
Yeah I have been wondering why people go in to the stores to get it... I thought it was 100 times easier to just order it on your computer it takes about 5 minutes and you get an online discount.
Reason why I want to order online is because I'm ordering it under a secondary line. I'm not eligible to buy it under my line with the $249 price tag. So I'll order online and when I receive it I'll activate it under my line. If I were to go to the store, it'll have to stay under the secondary line for 24 hrs before I can switch it back to my line.
I don't see the big deal about ordering it online, I mean you will just get it a few days later. they don't ship on Sat so it will be probably 3-4 days right? and how much is shipping?
I think ill order it online after I go to the store to check it out in person..not willing to wait in-line to get it and want to make sure I like it first.
Speaking of online orders do you think if I order online that my VIP $50 credit will get applied or do I have to call telesales? I just don't want to have to do the mail-in rebate. So $249 - $50 (online instant rebate) -$50 VIP credit = $149.
VIP is 50 off the phone but cant be combined with other offers such as the NE2 or employee discount. so 199-50 gets you the phone for 149 w/ 2 year contract
FYI, I called telesales today, and they said they can place an order on Friday and ship it with Saturday delivery (via FedEx). Cost = $20. Not bad for not having to wait in a line...
