- whats the big deal about wifi on a wireless device. i personally dont get it. wireless data is made to go anywhere, and wifi is not.
ive never seen such a big deal from people whining about devices not having wifi. maybe someone can explain to me what the big deal is03-15-09 07:14 PMLike 0 - It would be a nice feature to have, but not necessary. While I am at work, the building is shielded fairly decently, so I get a weak signal. If the 95xx's had wifi then I could get on it. Not that it would really make a difference anyway, since my companies IT dept. restricts everything when accessing the internet. Usually the signal is strong enough to do what I want anyway, so in the end it wouldn't make a difference.03-15-09 07:19 PMLike 0

For me, data is simply not available everywhere I travel. I've been in hotels, etc. where data was poor or non-existent. Wifi was there waiting to be used. Also, wifi is simply faster in many locations I am. Wifi connection speed wins out for me (based on other phones I've used with both data and wifi capabilities).
