Ive had many Blackberries and I am currently in the market for a new phone.

The Storm looks great. Just about everything seems fantastic and making the purchase would be a no brainer for me if it wasnt for one thing....the G1. Something about the G1 appeals to me and I am especially attracted to the Android Market for new applications (many of which will be free). In the past Ive found third party development (particularly free apps) for Blackberry to be pretty weak.

I also really like the more "relaxed" appearance of the G1's UI. I know this may seem silly to die hard Blackberry users but its just how I feel. Right now the only thing keeping me from getting the G1 is concern over the bugs. I know the Blackberry will work fine straight out of the box - they always have for me.

I guess Im just trying to find some input from the community on why the Storm would be a better pick than the G1.

Basic point of my reply. Do some searching before making a thread. Others have probably thought about this scenario before you have this far into the upcomming release of the storm.
