Hello all,

I have had my Storm about a month now. When I first set it up one thing I did was change the messages prefrences to keep messages for only 15 days, the least amount of days available. It has now been about 32 days and I still have all the messages from that first day. These include basically every type of message you can get on you BB: SMS, email, BBM, Facebook etc. Can someone tell me if I need to change another setting or do I have to keep deleting manually???

Clear all via messages folder > menu > view folder > w/in each, hilite date @ top > menu > delete prior. When done, menu > options > general options > keep msgs > reset.

Ok so I did what you said and then did a reset. Are you saying it should now only keep messages for 15 days then delete them?

Los24, have you loaded any of the beta operating systems?

I run into the same issue often, sometimes it doesn't delete after 15 days - maybe that's a good idea, resetting after an upload.

Nope only running .148 from the Verizon OTA update.
