I'm cynical and betting that the phones we get in our hands on Friday will have 0.65 software and that there will be no update available Friday OTA or otherwise. I have a feeling that these rumors of 0.70 or 0.80 are rumors only just like everyone knew the phone would be for sale on 10/28, err 11/4, err 11/14. err 11/17.

I've got no problem getting a better delivery then I was expecting.

P.S. I'm gonna try and hit up my local store tonight and see if they've got one I can play with. I'm new to blackberry, so can someone here post the menu-method to find the SW version. I'd be happy to report back whatever I come up with (if anything).

Release 86 doesn't mean .86. It should ship with mid to high .7*

i agree. i dont care what is in the phone friday morning. i am going to get it regardless knowing an update will be very soon.

I'll bet you're right, the phones have been in transit for a week to get out to all the stores. There is NO version of the Storm OS up, he77, the RIM site hasn't been up for a day uninterrupted since Voda released last week, because of traffic.

I'll also bet that membership #'s here will rise drastically when an OS upgrade is released, BTW civic is right, you can not upgrade an OS OTA...Service books, yes, OS, no....
