Last night i did a battery pull on the storm (9530)... while it is booting up, it gets to the white screen with the blue bar and freezes at the same spot while starting back up. No matter how many times i pull the battery to restart it.. it freezes.

what do i do??

Be patient. Reboots can take up to 5 minutes depending on the OS you are running.

If it truly had a problem, you would see the white-screen-of-death (WSOD) with an error code for diagnostics.

yes, i've had a reboot take 5 min or longer

mine is stuck on the static screen and will not boot up....any ideas? Sometimes after battery pull it will show app error reset.

While installing 5.0 for my 9630, I had to take the battery out and now it freezes on the white screen with the green status bar always in the same spot. The clock thing freezes and stays that for hours unless I take the battery out which I have done many times! HELP!

This "white screen of death" is happening to my Storm2 as well once I started an update. Now I get Error 532
