Mine was Made in Mexico. I had a bad upgrade through DM. Ended up with a JVM error screen that I could never load past after 24 hours. However, since I did a clean install without many of the Third Party apps I previously had it's been running perfectly with the sole exception of the dimming issue which is evidently a bug acknowledged by RIM. In addition to the core applications (minus BBMessenger which I never used) I currently have installed. Garmin Mobile, Google Sync, Poynt, Quick Pull Pro (Beta 3.6), Scoremobile, Slacker, Viigo, and WeatherBug Elite.
November storm made in mexico screen died in march. Two Mexico refurbs and a canadian refurb that were returned due to poor quality control on vzw's part. New storm from vzw store made in canada and haven't had a problem yet. Knock on wood.
Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com
The two we got a couple of months ago are both made in Hungary. Neither clicked at all except in the center when we got them and both ran like low grade dogmeat on .148. Had it not been for Crackberry Verizon would have gotten them both back within a couple of days.
100% Canadian =D No issues here. Made in February I think.
As well, the other Telus Storm user and my two friends' Telus pearl 8130's were made in Canada. I think Telus' entire BlackBerry supply is manufactured in Canada. No issues with any of the BlackBerry's. (yet)
I know it may be without justification, but I was relieved to open up the back panel and find Canada as opposed to the other alternatives
