I use the storm on os .113 and am very happy with it so far..the only problem I am having with it is that the memory seems to drop between 15 and 25 about twice a day. is it bad for the phone to do a battery pull when its this low or should I wait until it is extremely low to do the pull? I would not think this would be gpod for the phone but understand this is the only way to reboot the phone..

I do a pull before I gp out with friends and they might want to check out my phone. I do it about 2-3 times a day and gain like 15 MB.

I don't mind the battery pulling, but we really shouldn't have to be doing this, I hope RIM is taking this strongly into account before .113 goes official!

I usually just do it sometime in the morning each day, whenever I don't need it for a few minutes. I don't have any particular memory threshold. I don't even check the memory before doing it.

I do a pull every morning. There is a thread somewhere here that suggest to do it after every recharge. I don't know what it benefits, but I remember that the thread stated that it's just a maintenance thing. It also suggested that it helps with performance and may help curb problems. All I have to say, is that pulling every morning is the only time I have ever had to do a pull unless updating/adding apps. The device has never frozen or stalled on me yet, knock on wood.

I have a pull scheduled every morning, but since I traded weatherbug for bbweather memory is no longer an issue with me.

Is this really because of the OS, or is it from some of the apps, or both? I have horrible memory leak and I have weatherbug as well...but trying to see if it is more because i am on .75 vs apps installed.

Yea you physically remove it. Or download quick pull and just click a button.

As others here suggest.. get Quickpull and set it up to automatically reboot at like 5 am. Seems to do the trick.

Just do a pull whenever convenient. Whenever you find it to be on you mind :P Does nothing but speed things up and increase mem.

The only thing i find discouraging in doing a battery pull is the timetakes to load the OS. I am using .144 leak and it takes about 5minutes to do so. I will however auto schedule it do ot a 6m just before i wake up
