I understand "content cache" and "cookie cache" but what is "pushed content" for? I know Blackberry has the good ole push e-mail but what is it refering too in the browser?

Also when I want to clean the content cache and cookie cache there is no issue but if i click clear pushed content I get a prompt asking me if I really want to do that, which tells me that stuff must have some higher importance.

Anyone here be able to tell me what it is, how it works, and what happens if I clear it?

Currently I am standing at 49.9kb of pushed content.

Pushed Content is typically the product of subscription services: stock tickers, continuously updated sports scores, news updates. If you delete the pushed content, it'll just be pushed again at whatever update interval the service offers. Nothing bad will happen if you clear it.

It's also stuff like search engine preferences as well.

It all comes back the next time you launch the browser.... no worries.
