its probably you 3g connection, i mean you do need to have some good bandwith to make it work well. Just think, all those iphone users and lack of 3G connection to most of the US lol

I'm on EDGE and use HQ through the night non-stop and it works fine. I have a question though, I never use the YouTube App but if I do, how do I make HQ default?

I had the YT app and you can't watch HQ videos through it. I wish they would update it to play them, but I can't see an option for it. so the mobile site will suffice

Thanks for letting me know. I wonder if they care enough to update it? Coincidentally I'm on the mobile site and the HQ option has gone lol WTF.

HQ works flawless for me. Vids stream fine and look far better now

Sure beats the youtube app. I actually use my native browser now.
