I believe the sticker he is taking about is the little circle sticker, that, well for me is red with a white ring around it, and a white little line through it. It doesn't say anything, but I am sure that it is there, covering that screw for a reason.
yeah but they don't check that stuff... i sent 3 samsung i-760 back 2 missing a "sticker" like that and none had any of the stuff with them.. so i have 3 extended batteries and home chargers and same with all manuals and all that mess.. i doubt they will care but if they say something say it got knocked off when you dropped the phone while putting in the micro sd card:-P accidents happen
That sticker is there for a reason. It indicates any unspecified mods made to the phone after sale. The sticker covers a crucial screw. most likely they will do nothing due to the fact that they are getting so many back and trying to send so many out at the same time. This is the fear of a refurb, the fact that they overlook little things like this to keep productivity up. Maybe someone else decided to torque this thing down to the max and and created a pressure point that was not addressed due to the fact that the phone was returned for a button falling off...nightmare right there my friend
whoever said those stickers dont change color when exposed to moisture is wrong, the white line on the sticker will disappear and turn red. There is also another one of these stickers on the battery, if the red is drained at all on them, it proves there was water damage.
it clearly changes color when exposed to moisture, every single cell phone out on the market has stickers or marks like these on both the phone and battery, take a look around, they signify water damage
