You'll need to speak with them. I haven't seen this before... could just be something wacky with your phone provisioning. If you want, you can dial *22899, Send and wait for it to reprovision your device. It won't hurt anything and in case SMS capabilities were messed up, that should fix things. Verizon would probably have you try that first anyway. Give that a shot and if it resurfaces, then call them.
FYI, BREW is VZW's app platform for "dumb" phones. It's a qualcomm thing that lets VZW control access and whatnot. Did you have a dumbphone before the storm?

Yep, it's a provision issue on your account. You'll need to call them. This is why I asked about VZNav, it uses some hidden SMS triggering as well when provisioned (although, you'll never see the messages anywhere). Call them tomorrow and have them review your account or go online and make sure you have the right provisioning on there... but you may not be able to know right from wrong if you don't know what you're looking for.
Did you have mobile TV active on that device (9400)? It's probably the sms wake-up messages trying to deactivate the tv service. If all this is true the issues will disappear in 48hrs.

Actually did you have mobile email set up? If you did that is the problem. You need to either change the password on the email you have set up for the storm, or have them reactivate your 9400, sign in to mobile email, and turn off the notify me when new emails are received. This has been an issue I have seen several times. Easiest fix is changing your password if you don't mind doing it.
I got a similar TXT. Mine was the Verizon Backup Application that I used on my old Motorola phone attempting to sync my Contacts. You can log onto your Verizon account and I believe there is a way to stop the Contacts Backups ... this should stop those TXT messsages.

Ding ding ding, we have a winner.
I had the same thing...it stops after a day or so. Oddly enough I was hoping that when it was saying "brew" it was gonna make me a cup of coffee...
