I've been hearing that an 8GB microsd card will come with the 9530 storm from verizon... is this correct?
If so, what will be the speed of this microsd card? (class 2, 4, or 6?)
I need to know this because I was going to purchase a class 6 microsd card, but if the storm already comes with a class 6, then I won't.
the only thing people say is that it is 8GB, but I need to know the speed
i wish i could help you out here, i doubt its class 2, because class 2 is pretty low quality and crappy transfer speed. but what i would recommend, if you are going to end up buying a new card. Why not just buy a 16gb/32gb class 6 card. maybe CX can chime in he might be able to help

(1) there are no reputable 32GB microsd cards at the moment. In fact, I don't think any are being sold.
(2) there are no 16GB class 6 cards. The highest class 16GB is either a 2 or a 4. I know for a fact that there are no 6.

What has been covered is that BlackBerrys are only capable of utilizing class 2 speeds. So, therefore, the Storm will most likely come with a class 2 8GB microSDHC card. Class 4 & 6 would only benefit you if you transfered files constantly with a card reader... If you're using the bb as a card reader don't bother with the higher classes.
