With minimal usage I get 36 hours. But I usually charge every night and my battery is at 30-50 %

On my bb battery i get 3.3% discharge rate, and on my OEM i get 2.5% discharge... mmm *scratch head*

But I tend to play alot, use alot and charge alot, I dont mind, it tops up on USB while im watching a movie, or doing other work. SO no problems.

i usually get around a day of usage. i text and email a whole lot so i believe it is pretty good. i noticed when i use the browser bolt it drags the battery down alot quicker though

I use BBM, Email, Slacker and Email heavily during the day and my battery is around 20% at the time I go to bed which is around midnight. I charge every night and I haven't done any battery pulls since I was on .75(first two weeks over storm ownership).

Why is that surprising? Just use Quickpull...does the same thing without removing the back cover.

Thats what I do and it works well. I usually charge every other day depending on usage. Some days more and charge that same day.

Anybody that claims over two days is spewing BS. Even with minimal use, 36 hours is the most i get, and generally my battery is at 30-40% by days end, or dead if I decide to go out on Friday or Sat.

They could have the 2600 battery though.

Indeed. Clearly they would need to specify that if they were making such a claim...

Is this similar to a computer battery that can be calibrated? Will letting it drain completely and recharge make any difference?

    Just wondering......

I usually run to the end by the end of the second day, assuming moderate usage. Try turning down the brightness. The screen is still viewable at 30% and it saves a load of battery use!

i send and receive probably around 150 texts a day combined. and surf the web during the space in between my classes and I usually get 13 to 15 hours. but i have really bad service at my house. which kills the battery A LOT faster.

High use (phone, web, games) is at ~15%/hr; otherwise max 5%. Bought an extra battery & extended charger from cb & now have storm always available.

I send, maybe, 50 sms a day, receive about 30-40 e-mails, maybe make 30 minutes worth of calls, and I may drop 30% of my battery a day. If I browse the web and use VZNav, it goes alot quicker.

I also must charge daily but tend to want to drain my batt as completely as possible prior tp doing so. Additionally, I tend to allow my media selections to blast over the speaker
