What kind of files can the stom open/not open

like pdf's, publisher files, in design......

you can open PDFs but id recommend getting a good PDF reader like DataViz. i can open word excel and ppt files just fine. jpeg mpeg 3gp gif just to name a few. was there a certain one you were concerned about?

not too sure about publisher files though when it comes to design files

as long as i can open pdf's i should be fine. im just worried by getting a lot of programs it will slow down my phone

Is there a Windows Explorer/File Explorer like app for the BB?

it has it built in.....go to the media app, and hit the BB button, and you will see "explore".

yea thats a good way. there was a nice app for it by Rove but its discontinued. if you have the DataViz program it will open files for you if you have PDF Word Excel and Ppt. it will take you to your blackberry folder and then documents.
