What is the difference between the 9500 and 9530? does Verizon Allow 3rd party apps?
Also will this Storm have blackberry maps or will vz navigator take its place?

You really should have read some of the reviews and posts on here, but anyhow.

    1) 9530 has CDMA, 9500 does not.
    2) Yes, you have have 3rd party apps... always have been able to on any VZW BB.
    3) According to all sources, the GPS is open and usable by 3rd party apps, unlike the current gen BBs from VZW. Yes, it'll come with BBMaps... and you can even use Google if you wish.

VZ Nav is sweeeeet. Audible turn by turn, you can look up gas prices weather updates traffic updates movie times and events. reroute search for local places of interest. automatic map updates. soooo much better than bb maps-but thatll come on the phone

There's plenty of other apps that can do that. I don't think anyone was comparing BBMaps to VZNav.

thats up to you man, if your satisfied with your AT&T service then u should probably stay, but it wouldn't make a difference unless you want the wifi for the phone on verizon. once again, thats your decision. i personally like verizon because i feel they have a better network and they also have a more widespread and better 3G network whereas AT&T is sort of lacking.

might want to check that again.

9500's are GSM phones, 30's are CDMA models (hence the continuity between series)

no mention of CDMA anywhere in specs of 9500's.
