I use stormstat. Its pretty relevant to how the phone operates and might be reasons why some peoples phone malfunction.

Internal temperature is relevant in many electronics. My TiVo for example shows on it's information screen what the temperature of it is and if it's normal or not. However I don't think it's that relevant on your Storm. Some people have said humidity affects it but others in humid areas say no.

    Just my opinion. YMMV

Below 90, once it got to 140ish. The battery will drain much faster as it gets hotter i noticed. And yes high temps can cause problems on the device

Mine is usually about 90 - 100. Mine got up to 135 when the phone was in the sun/shade and I was using Slacker with the screen backlight on. You can get your battery's temperature using the Meterberry product.

I roll at 95 degrees F. The stormstat is a nice little free app. It's like a stripped down version of Meterberry.

I have seen it as low as 81 and as high as 107. But I guess I really don't pay much attention to it though.

I get the temp from meterberry. I don't pay close attention, because the phone is nearly always indoors, and when I notice it (usually while checking something else in meterberry) it's usually in the mid 80s. When charging, it gets up to about 104. Low ebb is usually in the upper 70s.
