I use stormstat. Its pretty relevant to how the phone operates and might be reasons why some peoples phone malfunction.

Internal temperature is relevant in many electronics. My TiVo for example shows on it's information screen what the temperature of it is and if it's normal or not. However I don't think it's that relevant on your Storm. Some people have said humidity affects it but others in humid areas say no.
Mine is usually about 90 - 100. Mine got up to 135 when the phone was in the sun/shade and I was using Slacker with the screen backlight on. You can get your battery's temperature using the Meterberry product.
Temp usually runs around 83 to 88, got it up to 138 one day, I forgot to take it out of my car.
Howarmat, how long did you leave yours in the car for ?

I live in fla and I get tht same screen problem I thought it was the moisture off my fingers or something. I'm going to find out the temp cause my phone gets really hot sometimes.

mine is usually between 78 and 114 depending if i am charging it or at work. i use BB BattStat1 and it tells charge lvl and batt temp. the highest mine read was 152 then it shut off. i had left it in my car during a game and it was 103 outside.
I get the temp from meterberry. I don't pay close attention, because the phone is nearly always indoors, and when I notice it (usually while checking something else in meterberry) it's usually in the mid 80s. When charging, it gets up to about 104. Low ebb is usually in the upper 70s.
