I have been tracking the Crackberry Storm forum for a LONG time and finally placed my order on the 22nd. I received an email from Verizon today (26th) saying that they are processing my order. Does anyone have a sense of how long it takes to ship once this email is sent? Thanks

I got the same e-mail and ordered around 8pm CT on 11/21. If a lot of people are getting this email, I seem to think they might just be sending out periodic emails so people will stop calling customer service. Hopefully I'm wrong and we'll get a "your order has shipped" email this afternoon.

Ordered mine early am on 11/21. Recieved device activated it on 11/24, and I just got the same email this morning.

Ugh, I've gotten three separate e-mails now. One Sunday night saying my "Your order has shipped", another yesterday saying my order was processed, and this e-mail saying it's "being" processed. Hopefully they sent these e-mails out to everyone who ordered a Storm and I won't have to wait too much longer.

i ordered my blackberry storm on the morning of the 22nd and didn't receive an email till today saying we are processing your order and your storm will ship out as soon as possible. I hope it comes soon. I can barely wait. Pathetic, I know but women love electronics as well and I think the storm is totally marketed towards women.

Pretty sure the e-mail is meaningless. It's just a mass e-mail sent to everyone who ordered the phone. Even people who already received the phone are getting it.

I placed my order through telesales on Friday morning and I received a tracking number Sunday afternoon. According to FedEx, my package is currently on the truck to be delivered today, so I was a little surprised when I checked my email this morning to see that I had received an e-mail that they were currently processing my order. My card was charged several days ago.

I Think thats exactly what is happening. I still have had no emails since I ordered on Friday. I bet I will get the emails on my Storm when it comes in...lol

Wow! Called customer service got a tracking number and the package is on the fedex truck waiting for delivery. Still no emails...lol

Ordered 12:09pm PST Friday 21st
FedEx got the package Yesterday 25th
Estimated delivery the 28th, could be today who knows!

I feel much better 1 week or less from ordering to delivery of a phone ordered on day 1 is not too bad. If Friday were an average day for VZW I would be upset but this is not bad considering the run they have had on Storms.

Got that email this morning. Then I just received an email telling me my Storm was shipped. Fed Ex Estimated Delivery is for Friday the 28th. I placed my order with a CSR on the 21st after 2pm CST. Can't wait!!
