    Hi guys,
Im a newbie BB user, and I just got the storm a few days ago. I set up my work email relatively easily, and it works great, however I keep getting these weird emails (which i have pasted below). I dont know why I am getting them and my IT dept. doesnt seem to know what they are either. By the way, our email uses Outlook/exchange. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. This is a picture of the email as it looks on my computer.

I'd try reinstalling the desktop redirector from the website. Mine is set up and the only time I see those messages is for a split second as it is sending an email to my BB and then it is deleted.

great information thanks. I dont use the blackberry software though because for some reason it doesnt want to work on my computer. Doesnt recognize that the BB is connected. Plus the Verizon drivers CD miraculously screwed up my internet for about 2 days and my computer wouldnt recognize my internet connection.

You have to at least go here and get the usb drivers...RIM..If not you will either fry a usb port on your pc or you'll jack up your BB or the battery..
You kinda also need desktop manager to sync to your pc AND down the road to install apps, themes, and reinstall your OS it it ever crashes, (and they do). This is all part of owning a BB...

At the link I put up are 3 options
    Desktop Manager without media manager
    Desktop Manager with media manager
    USB Drivers
Either version of desktop manager has the drivers, so you don't need to install them seperate, you just need the drivers if you don't install either version of desktop manager.

I would recommend desktop manager without media support...

if you are using enterprise email, it may mean your admin has the BES improperly setup.

I installed BES for the first time last night and before i got it working right i was getting those emails when trying to activate enterirpise email.

Once i realized the problem (a permissions problem of course), the next time i activated BES caught that message properly and activated my email.
