Ok people, i have read just about every thread regarding the update and have no clue which one to install this point. It is really all over the place.

So I am hoping this poll of firmwares will really help us figure this out percentage wise finally.

We already know this is somewhat preference, the person, etc, and thats why the subject says FOR YOU. So no need to flame that people are dumb or anyone is dumb or anything.

I think this could be very helpful.

Also, please confine your responses to specifics about the firmwares.

What I welcome most here is a real nice changelog. If people post excellent changelogs based on their experience, I will add it to the first post.

Of course this has been covered a million times in many threads, but thats why i think a poll is called for. Please constructive replies only..

EDIT: If you only have tried .75 and .65 then please refrain from voting till you have tried them all. The idea of this poll is to find out if .76 is worth it over .75 and if .78 is worth it over the other two. We already know .75 leaked and official .75 are the same. So unless you have tried .76 or .78 please wait to vote. Otherwise when you try .76 or .78, you wont be able to change your vote if they work better.

Also, i made a typo, option number 5, Telus .78 (setup for 9530) should be VODAFONE .78. Just consider it ".78" since there is only one right now.

got my storm yesterday.. .65 was great
.75- laggy, and i will hit an application, but it would go there so i would have to hit it again. and seems slower..

Did you try a battery pull?

Many people reported needing atleast 2 battery pulls to see any difference.

Also, maybe you could try .76, many with your type of results appear to like .76 much better. but battery pull first.

thanks mutambo, i agree, this would be a good sticky. It would help many many people. Just about everyone right now is wondering if what they have running is truly the best.

Did pull, maybe its a little faster switching portrait to landscape, but cant tell. it takes about 1.5-2 seconds. that normal?? as for the clicking, i cant tell yet. need more time. But thanks.. and good thread/poll!

Why dont we make this a sticky and remove the "where is your storm made sticky"?

i think this poll is more "Current Events" than the where is your storm made thread which has run its course, determined where 85% of storms are made and i think is done.

A good poll would be for those that tried all 5 and decided to stick with one. Otherwise, how exactly would one claim ".75 is the best" without trying .76 or .78?

I tried .65 - was ok, .76 was really nice after battery pull (especially browser, bt, and media, .75 official is ok. I voted for .76. (which oddly enough DM told me that some of my core apps still needed updates -odd.

OK i added to the instructions that only people who have tried .76 or .78 should vote. As long as they have tried 3 of the 5, there data is still helpful.

Also added the bit about the typo with telus = vodaphone.
