Call yourself, leave a msg, delete that msg. See if that works.

If you're using Visual Voicemail, there might be more to it than that.

one thing i noticed is if you just hang up on the voicemail syste, this sometimes happens. USe the * key to back out til the system hangs up on you. had this issue on my curve and this fixed it.
