    No, this eliminates missed calls and such from being logged in your message list.

    As long as the OP has their sms/mms inbox separated from their email inbox, they will only receive voicemail notifications in their sms/mms inbox; however, there is no option to turn this off.

    A voice mail message is a message, just delete it when it comes in. That's what I do...and when I'm finally ready to check, I open VVM.
