Hey guys! Just got a refurb replacement about a week ago. Am on a S1 on .328. I tried out my video camera today and it barely records volume!! I tried plugging in a headset and unplugging it, took my cover off in case it was blocking, and took it off of vibrate. Nothing worked. I played a video I took with my old phone and it works just fine. Any thoughts? Thanks guys!!
Well, took a trip to the store and they swapped it out with another refurb. Tested it while at the store and it has the same problem. The store rep called their tech support line and they said it could be a coincidence. So, phone number 4 is on the way and will be here Wednesday. We'll see how it goes.
I started having the problem as soon as I upgraded to .328. Same thing on my wife's phone. I think it is definitely software, not hardware. It's a shame too, because I always thought it was a pretty decent video camera.
By the way, the screen dimming issue started at the same time.
