How do you unlock the storm 9530 from verizon without the unlock code ....and can you get a free unlock code ?

You can't unlock it without an unlock code.

If you aren't a Verizon customer, then you need to go into the Unlocking Forum and find an unlocking vendor and get a code. You might be able to get a free one in a contest, but otherwise just pay a small fee for the code.
