So I got a unlocked storm for tmobile and I downloaded pandora from the app world. When I try to open the app it says something about my data plan. And also I see my EDGE drops to edge. Why is that

Can you be more specific abou the message you're receiving? And which country's T-Mobile are you using?

There's a bug in the newer firmwares RADIO. Each time you make an APN request, it drops to "edge".

Only way to fix it is to go back to .75 or an early Storm OS.

Doing this usually re-locks the device so you'll need to re-unlock it.

EDIT: There were some rumors of unchecking the APN Authentication, but the Storm I have, still does it.
